Best Short Film Awarded

May 24, 2024, is a historic day for Thohir. For the first time, his film received recognition from a film competition and won the highest award, Best Film, at the 2024 Uluslararası Öğrenci Ödülleri (International Student Awards).

The film Bağlantı (Connected) was showcased for the first time on the big screen in front of ambassadors from countries around the world, including Russia and Indonesia.
The certificate was also presented directly by the Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Achmad Rizal Purnama.

Although this isn’t a prestigious award from a major festival, it holds significant meaning and demonstrates his capability in film production.
